Carlo Marra, BScPharm, PharmD, PhD

Dr. Carlo Marra is currently the Dean, and Professor in the School of Pharmacy at University of Otago. Dr. Marra completed a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, a Doctor of Pharmacy, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Care and Epidemiology, at the University of British Columbia. He went on to complete a post-doctoral fellowship at the Arthritis Research Centre of Canada.

Previously, Dr. Marra was the Dean of the School of Pharmacy at Memorial University’s in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Professor and Director of the Collaboration for Outcomes Research and
Evaluation (CORE) in the Faculty of Pharmacuetical Sciences at the University of British Columbia. His research has mainly focused on health economics, quality of life research and pharmacoepidemiology. He has been published in almost 200 peer-reviewed articles and more than 100 other publications as well as presented at nearly 100 conferences.
