Reimbursement and Pricing Policy for Drugs for Rare Diseases
UBC’s Vice President, Research and Innovation (VPRI) provides support to UBC research and encourages collaboration with other researchers, whether locally, nationally or on an international scale. In 2017, our Emerging Research Cluster, “Reimbursement and Pricing Policy for Drugs for Rare Diseases“, was awarded $100,000 to support an international collaboration of pricing policy researchers and other stakeholders. The research cluster, led by Dr. Larry Lynd, aims to continue to contribute to the development of a consistent, transparent decision-making system for determining coverage of orphan drugs internationally.
